KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Georgia Gwinnett is once again the top-ranked team in the country of the 2015 NAIA Men’s Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday. The Grizzlies earned 343 points and all 13 first-place votes for the third-consecutive release on the way to No. 1.

The top-ranked team remains 9-1 on the year. Georgia Gwinnett has won five in-a-row after falling to NCAA Division II Barry (Fla.), 6-3, on March 8. The top team has swept its last three opponents during that streak, including Cumberlands (Ky.) earlier today (9-0).

The Grizzlies take on NCAA Division II Hawaii-Pacific on April 3.

Rounding out the top five is No. 2 Embry-Riddle (8-3) – 2014 national runner-up – with 329 total points. Continuing at No. 3 is Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) (13-3) with 323 points. The rest of the top five includes 2014 national championship semifinalist Vanguard (Calif.) (13-0 and 311 points) in fourth, and quarterfinalist Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) (7-2 and 299 points) is fifth.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and the Association of Independent Institutions. For the entire 2015 NAIA Men’s Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 Poll schedule, click here.
