2017 NAIA Men’s Golfer of the Week — No. 2 (March 29)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – S.M. Lee of Dalton State (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Lee was selected based on his performances from March 20 – 26 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Lee’s three-round score of 68-68-65—201 (-15) helped lead the Roadrunners to a first-place team finish out of five teams at the Georgia Military Invitational.
• Lee’s final round (65) tied the 18-hole school single-round lowest scoring record.
• Broke the 54-hole school record (201) en route to his third invitational medalist finish of the season.
• Lee has finished out of the top five in only one tournament this season, a sixth-place finish at the Sand Shark Classic.
