KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mark Shaw of Oklahoma City has been named the NAIA National Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Shaw was selected for his performance from Sept. 11 – 17 and was selected out of a pool of conference/association of independent institutions award winners.

- Finished first out of 267 runners at the Missouri Southern Stampede
- Ran an 8K with a time of 24:02
- Helped his team finish seventh out of 27 teams
