2018 NAIA Men's Tennis National Player of the Week - No. 2 (March 28)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ramon Puertolas of Cumberland (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Puertolas was selected based on his performances from March 21 – 27 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.|

Ramon Puertolas, Cumberland (Tenn.)

Jr., Tarrega, Spain

• Lead the Phoenix to a 7-2 upset over then-No. 4 Campbellsville (Ky.).
• At No. 2 singles, Puertolas captured a 6-3, 7-6 victory. Puertolas also captured an 8-5 No. 3 doubles victory with his partner Riccardo Ferraris.
• Ramon has a season record of 8-2 at singles and 8-4 at doubles so far.
