Union (Tenn.) No. 1 In Division I Women's Basketball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union (Tenn.) Lady Bulldogs were a unanimous choice for the top spot in the first regular season NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Top 25 poll, receiving all 11 first place votes.

The Bulldogs are undefeated on the season with a 10-0 record and earned 330 total points in the poll.

Vanguard (Calif.) remains in the second position from the preseason poll.  The Lions received 313 total points.  Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) climbed five spots to No. 3 with 302 total points while Lee (Tenn.) dropped a spot to No. 4 with 281 points.  Saint Xavier (Ill.) move up a spot to No. 5 with a perfect 5-0 record and 277 total points to round out the top five.

The next regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, December 12.
