Union (Tenn.) Remains No. 1 in Division I Women's Basketball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union (Tenn.) maintained its No. 1 ranking in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Women's Basketball Top-25 poll for the sixth straight week.  The Lady Bulldogs collected all first place votes every week this season.

Lee (Tenn.) remained in the second position with 319 total points for the fourth consecutive week.  Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) climbed three spots to No. 3 with 305 points after defeating then-No. 3 Vanguard (Calif.), 86-65, last week.   Vanguard dropped to No. 4 with 298 total points.  Azusa Pacific (Calif.) picked up two wins against top-25 teams (No. 10 Master's (Calif.) and No. 19 Cal Baptist) last week and moved into top-five with 280 points.

The next regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, February 6.
