Union's Neaville Joins 1,000 Point Club

JACKSON, Tenn. - Union University's Matt Neaville passed the 1,000-point mark in the Bulldog's victory over Southern University - New Orleans on Saturday, Dec. 13.  Neaville's 12 points helped Union knock off the Knights 93-73, in the Bulldog's final game before Christmas break.

 

Neaville, a 6-foot senior guard from Urbana, Ill., recorded his 1,003 point on his fourth three pointer of the game, with just over eight minutes left in the contest.  Neaville, who posted 1,000 points only a season and a half into his career as a Bulldog, is averaging 19.2 points per game and 4.3 assists per game, through 13 games this season.

 

Neaville, last season's leading scorer and three point shooter, is averaging 22.8 points per game over his Union career.  He is also averaging 3.7 assists per game.
