Union (Tenn.) Still No. 1 In Division I Women's Basketball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union (Tenn.) Lady Bulldogs garnered all 11 first place votes to continue as the No. 1 team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Women's Basketball Top-25 poll.

The Bulldogs are undefeated on the season with a 12-0 record and earned for 330 total points in the poll.

The next four spots have shuffled from the previous poll.  Lee (Tenn.) moved up two spots to No. 2 with 316 points after wins against previous No. 2 Vanguard (Calif.) and then-No. 25 Cumberlands (Ky.).  Vanguard fell to No. 3 with 303 points while Oklahoma Baptist climbed a spot to No. 4 with 297 points.  No. 5 Free-Hardeman (Tenn.) dropped two spots with 291 points to round out the top-five.

The next regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, January 16.
