NAIA Women?s Soccer Players of the Week ? No. 8 (Oct. 25)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bethany Balcer of Spring Arbor (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Rachel Hardin of Dalton State (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.
National Offensive Player of the Week
Bethany Balcer, Spring Arbor (Mich.)
5-9, So., MF, Hudsonville, Mich.
• Balcer posted a Spring Arbor program record six goals as she led the Cougars to an 11-1 victory over Bethel (Ind.).
• She ranks No. 2 in the NAIA in shots per game (7.69) and No. 4 in total points (50).
• Balcer has led the Cougars to a Crossroads League regular season title, while recording 21 goals and eight assists on the season.
National Defensive Player of the Week
Rachel Hardin, Dalton State (Ga.)
5-4, Jr., GK, Augusta, Ga.
• Posted a career-high 12 saves in the 1-0 victory over Brenau
• Ranks fifth in the Southern States Athletic Conference in goals against average (1.58).
