NAIA Division I Men?s Basketball Player of the Week ? No. 6

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rashad Brackeen of Peru State (Neb.) has been named the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Brackeen was selected for his play during the week of Jan. 16-22 and was chosen out of the conference and Association of Independent Institutions award winners.
Division I Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Rashad Brackeen, Peru State (Neb.)
6-6, Sr., G, Oakland, Calif.
• In a 104-102 victory over Missouri Valley, Brackeen recorded 31 points, four rebounds and four assists.
• In a 102-82 victory over Evangel (Mo.), Brackeen scored 34 points and grabbed six rebounds and posted three assists.
• Broke the Peru State school record for most three-point field goals made in a game (10). The previous school record was eight.
• Averaged 32.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists during the week.
