2018 NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week ? No. 1 (March 21)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Nicole Lopes of Embry-Riddle (Ariz.) has been named the NAIA National Women’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Lopes was selected based on her performances from March 14 – 20 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Shot a 144 through two rounds to capture a first-place finish out of 24 golfers
• Nicole finished three strokes ahead of the second-place finisher
• Earned medalist honors for the second time this season
• Lopes helped give Embry-Riddle a first-place team finish
