2018 NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week ? No. 2 (March 28)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – David Meyers of Oklahoma City has been named the NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Meyers was selected based on his performances from March 21 – 27 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Shot a 195 over three rounds to take the overall individual victory with his best round being a 7-under par 63 in the second round.
• Meyers tied the program low score for 54 holes and also helped Oklahoma City to lower their program best score at a 54-hole tournament to 811. This bested their previous program best by nine strokes.
• Meyers helped lead the Stars to a first place finish, defeating 10 different teams ranked in the NAIA Top 25. The Stars finished 13 strokes ahead of 2nd-place Wayland Baptist (Texas) as a team.
