NAIA Football Game Featured on Fox Sports Atlantic
CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Mid-South Conference West Division football game between Campbellsville (Ky.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) will be televised nation-wide on FOX College Sports Atlantic, Campbellsville officials announced Monday.
Coverage of the game, known as the Highway 55 Battle, will begin at 2 p.m. EDT with kickoff scheduled for 2:06 p.m. EDT at Finley Stadium and Citizens Bank Field. FOX College Sports (FCS) has a 15 million home reach and is available by most all cable or satellite providers in their sports packages.
The production is in cooperation between Campbellsville University and 35-Sports Productions, LLC in London, Ky.
"We are excited to have FOX showing our upcoming homecoming game. This is great advertisement for our conference, university and Fighting Tiger football," said Perry Thomas, CU head coach. "It's not often that NAIA teams get an opportunity to showcase their programs, school and community on this scale."

Both teams will return to MSC West Division action Saturday looking for their first MSC West victory. Located only 17 miles apart, the Fighting Tigers will look to keep the Highway 55 road sign hanging on their locker room wall, while the visiting Blue Raiders will be looking to claim victory in the series for the first time since the football rivalry began in 2010.
Campbellsville's season has been full of new faces, with freshmen players starting on the offensive and defensive lines, at wide receiver, defensive back, linebacker and kicker so far this season. Under center, four Tigers have seen time at quarterback with junior college transfer Bryan Parnes taking over the starting job in Week Five.
Despite a slow, 1-5 start to the season, the Fighting Tigers are still in the hunt for a Mid-South Conference West Division championship with Saturday's game being only game three of a six-game MSC West schedule. The Tigers dropped their first two conference games to Bethel University, 33-24, and on the road at Belhaven University, 70-28.
CU claimed its first victory of the season, 15-14, at Kentucky Christian University on Sept. 29 but lost this past Saturday to No. 2 Georgetown College, 42-13.
Lindsey Wilson is looking to bounce back from an early 2-4 start in their third season of play. After a season-opening overtime loss at Kentucky Christian, the Blue Raiders rolled off two wins at home over Union College and the University of Pikeville to earn an NAIA Top 25 ranking by the fourth week of the season. Georgetown College put a quick end to the Blue Raiders' Top 25 ranking the following week.
The Blue Raiders opened MSC West play on Sept. 22 in a close loss at Faulkner University, 43-41, before traveling to No. 9 University of the Cumberlands and falling 61-29 on Sept. 29. Lindsey Wilson had this past Saturday off in preparation for Campbellsville.
In addition to the game being broadcast on FOX College Sports, Saturday's game will be rebroadcast locally on WLCU-TV 4 in Campbellsville on Comcast Cable channel 10 at 7 p.m. EDT.
Live radio coverage of the game will be provided, beginning at 1:30 p.m. EDT, on the CU Sports Network - WLCU 88.7 FM, and streamed live online at wlcufm.com.
Lindsey Wilson's radio broadcast can be heard on WAIN 93.5 FM or online via Stretch Internet at http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/lwc.portal#.
