NAIA Extends Partnership with Rawlings and Worth
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has renewed its long standing partnership with Rawlings Sporting Goods and Worth Sports. Rawlings and Worth will continue its status as the Official Supplier of baseballs, basketballs, footballs and softballs for the NAIA through June 2015.
“The NAIA is pleased to extend its relationship with Rawlings and Worth,” said Eric Chapman, NAIA Director of Development and Corporate Sponsorships. “The NAIA-Rawlings partnership has been a great one for years, and we are confident in their ability to provide superior products and exceptional customer service to our members, coaches and student-athletes.”
The Rawlings Contour will continue as the “Official Basketball of the NAIA;” the Rawlings ST5NAIA also will remain the “Official Football of the NAIA;” as well as the Rawlings R100NAIA as the “Official Baseball of the NAIA.” Each ball will feature the NAIA logo and is available for purchase. In addition to its official ball status, Rawlings will award the Coach of the Year honors for each NAIA sponsored sport. To enhance brand loyalty, Rawlings Sporting Goods is also working with the NAIA on an advisory board for each sport.
The Worth NAIAFP will continue as the “Official Softball of the NAIA”. Worth Sports will also host the Fellowship Breakfast and the Women of the NAIA Social at the NAIA National Convention through 2015.
“The NAIA’s dedication to character-driven athletics parallels what we strive for at Rawlings and Worth,” said Mark Kraemer, Director, Rawlings Sports Marketing and Worth Brand Management. “We will continue to support the NAIA and look forward to enhancing a great relationship.”
