NAIA Division I Menís Basketball Player of the Week Ė No. 3 (Jan. 3)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Di'mar Hill of Faulkner (Ala.) has been named the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Hill was selected for his play during the week of Dec. 26 – Jan. 1 and was chosen out of the conference and Association of Independent Institutions award winners.
Division I Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Di’mar Hill, Faulkner (Ala.)
6-4, Sr., G, Marietta, Ga.
• Hill posted 51 points, while leading the Eagles to two victories last week.
• He scored 19 points in a win over Blue Mountain (Miss.), 71-53, and 32 points in an upset victory over No. 8 William Carey (Miss.), 94-82.
• Averaged 25.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists during the week.
• Hill shot 57 percent from the floor and 85 percent from the free throw line to claim this week’s honors.
