MRPI - No. 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) retained the top spot in the second official NAIA Women's Soccer Modified Ratings Percentage Index (MRPI), the national office announced Wednesday. This is the second time in as many MRPI releases that the Blue Raiders' (13-0-1) have occupied the top spot in the MRPI. The top-five teams are rounded out by No. 2 Lee (Tenn.), No. 3 Azusa Pacific (Calif.), No. 4 Concordia (Calif.) and No. 5 Martin Methodist (Tenn.).

The MRPI consists of the team's modified winning percentage, their opponents' winning percentage and the cumulative ranking points from the current NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Each of the three values has a weighted percentage calculated in the MRPI. The MRPI modifies the value of home/away/neutral results and adds more value for games against opponents ranked in their respective national poll.

The MRPI will select the at-large qualifying teams and seed the 32-team NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship field. The final official MRPI announcement will be on Nov. 13.
