NAIA standing committees carry out policies established through the council governance structure on a wide range of topics concerning honors and awards, legislative issues and competitive equity.

Committee on Gender Equity Works to raise the level of awareness about issues related to women in sport and to facilitate the advancement of both men and women in sport and in the governance of all phases of the NAIA

Competitive Experience Committee Has oversight of the operations and policies of the NAIA National Eligibility Center and reviews appeals related to eligibility determinations

Conduct and Ethics Committee Reviews and acts upon cases involving violations of the NAIA Code of Ethics and other NAIA policies and regulations
