NAIA Match of the Week (As of Sept. 27)
No. 22 Cornerstone (Mich.) (9-3) at No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan (16-1)
Saturday, Sept. 29, Marion, Ind., 2 p.m. ET, Luckey Arena
• The last meeting between Indiana Wesleyan and Cornerstone (Mich.) came back on Sept. 17, 2010 in the Best Western Wildcat Classic. Indiana Wesleyan came away with a 3-1 (25-20, 25-10, 22-25, 25-20) win over Cornerstone (Mich.)
• The Wildcats enter the Indiana Wesleyan-Indiana Tech Crossover Tournament on a nine game-winning-streak. Its last loss came on Sept. 5 to Grace (Ind.). During the winning-streak, the Wildcats have dropped only three sets.
• Kristine Egebrecht leads the team with 201 kills. In the Wildcats victory over No. 18 Indiana East, Egebrecht tied her season-high with 15 kills.
• Egebrecht ranks No. 2 in the nation with a hitting percent of .447.
• Indiana Wesleyan setter Yui Iwase ranks 20th in the NAIA in assists (651). On Sept. 26 against Indiana East, Iwase recorded a season-high 54 assists
• The Wildcats rank 13th in kills per set (13.720) and 14th in assists per set (12.710).
• The Golden Eagles come into the Crossover Tournament after suffering its third loss of the year on Wednesday at the hands of Madonna (Mich.), 3-0.
• Becky Albercht has recorded 123 kills on the season, which leads the Golden Eagles.
• Cornerstone's Kim Weaver leads the team with 474 assists and 24 aces.
• Weaver ranks No. 22 in Assists per set averaging 10.3.
• As a team the Golden Eagles rank 19th in assists per set (12.370) and kills per set (13.370).

• This week of Sept. 24 - 30 features five Top 25 matchups in addition to the NAIA Volleyball Match of the week, including:
   o Tuesday - No. 13 The Master's (Calif.) def. No. 5 Westmont (Calif.), 3-1 (19-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-16)
   o Wednesday - No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan def. No. 18 Indiana East, 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17); No. 17 Madonna (Mich.) def. No. 22 Cornerstone (Mich.) 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 27-25)
   o Saturday - No. 5 Westmont (Calif.) at No. 4 Biola (Calif.); No. 22 Cornerstone (Mich.) vs. No. 23 Taylor (Ind.)
• Last back at last week Top 25 Upsets:
   o Sept. 21 - Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio) def. then-No. 20 Taylor (Ind.), 3-1 (26-24, 26-28, 28-26, 29-27)
• In last week's NAIA Match of the Week, No. 5 Westmont (Calif.) def. No. 9 Cal State San Marcos, 3-2 (25-23, 25-18, 10-25, 24-26, 15-7).
• Starting this week off was No. 13 The Master's def. No. 5 Westmont in four sets. The Mustangs last victory over the Warriors was on September 20, 2011.

For the Record (As of Sept. 27)
• Northwestern Ohio leads the NAIA in wins with 21. Oklahoma Baptist is two games back with 19 wins.
• Only three teams in the NAIA are undefeated. All three teams are ranked in the top 25, No. 1 Texas at Brownsville, No. 2 Concordia (Calif.) and No. 19 Missouri Baptist.
• No. 18 Indiana East fell from the ranks of the undefeated, suffering its first loss Wednesday night when it was defeated by No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan. 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-17).
• Columbia's (Mo.) Paula Ferreira was selected as the NAIA National Player of the Week, which was announced on Sept. 25. To view the release, click here.
• Texas at Brownsville currently holds the longest winning streak at 21-games dating back to Nov. 1, 2011. Missouri Baptist is the next closest with 18-straight.
• Concordia's streak of 77-straight rankings is the longest active streak in the Top 25. Behind Concordia is Biola (Calif.) which has been ranked in 76-straight polls.
• Texas at Brownsville has been ranked No. 1 in 14 of the last 17 weeks. The last time they were not ranked No. 1 came on Nov. 13, 2011.
• Coach Mike Bruno of Point Park (Pa.) won his 300th win on Thursday when the Pioneers defeated Ursuline(Ohio), 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-15).

National Statistics (As of Sept. 27)
• Amy Weststeyn of Biola (Calif.) leads the NAIA with a .467 hitting percentage in 53 sets played.
• Dakota State's (S.D.) Kristen DiPaola leads the nation with 5.3 kills per set. DiPaola has 391 kills on the season. She is tied for the most kills in an NAIA match with 30 against Mount Marty (S.D.) on Sept. 4.
• Columbia's (Mo.) Paula Ferreira leads the NAIA with 12.4 assists per set.
• Kimmy Kavran of Montana Tech and Lindsey Cornett of Point (Ga.) lead the nation with 7.4 digs per set. Kavran also ranks first in total digs on with 512.
• Tougaloo's (Miss.) Briana Murphy leads the NAIA in blocks per set with an average of 2.2.
• Julie Els of Doane (Neb.) is the national leader in aces with 50.

Looking Ahead to the National Championship
The 33rd annual national championship will take place in Sioux City, Iowa, for the fifth-straight year. The 2012 Championship will be contested at the Tyson Events Center from Nov. 27- Dec. 1.
