2012-13 NAIA Men's Swimming & Diving Postseason Coaches' Poll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Oklahoma Baptist won its second-consecutive national championship and tallied all five first-place votes with 30 points to earn the top sport in the postseason edition of the 2012-13 NAIA Men's Swimming and Diving Coaches' Poll, the national office announced Friday. The Bison were ranked No. 1 all season.
Oklahoma Baptist set seven championships records at the national championship and collected 13 All-American honors. The Bison won the 2013 Swimming and Diving National Championship by 432.5 points over second place.
Finishing runner-up to Oklahoma Baptist at the national championship and collecting 20 points for the No. 2 rating is Concordia (Calif.) Olivet Nazarene improved two spots, from No. 5 to No. 3 after an impressive showing at the national championships. Falling two positions to No. 4 is SCAD Savannah (Ga.) with 11 points. Rounding out the top five is Illinois Tech with five points.
The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches from the NAIA Swimming & Diving Coaches Association.
