KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third-straight week, the top-four teams held their ranking in the 2013 Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll, the national office announced Tuesday. In the fifth regular-season edition, No. 1 Concordia (Calif.) led the bunch for the 10th-consecutive time dating back to 2012. Riding a 52-match win streak, the Eagles were the unanimous No. 1 selection and gathered 653 total points. This poll marks the first time all season that Concordia collected all of the 23 first-place nods.

The rest of the top four followed in the same order as last week: No. 2 Texas at Brownsville, No. 3 Biola (Calif.) and No. 4 Madonna (Mich.).

Concordia is riding one of the NAIA's longest all-time win streaks at 52-straight, which is tied for the third best with former member Brigham Young-Hawaii (1995-96). The Eagles are 14-0 on the season and have not lost since Dec. 3, 2011 in the NAIA National Championship final against Texas at Brownsville. Of the 14 wins this year, 11 have been sweeps and no match has gone to a fifth set. However, the schedule gets tough with matches at No. 13 The Master's (Calif.) on Tuesday and at home against No. 3 Biola on Saturday. The 76-game streak by former member St. John Fisher (N.Y.) from 1979-80 is second longest on record.

No. 2 Texas at Brownsville secures the No. 2 spot for the fifth-straight time. With a 16-0 record, the Ocelots have 632 total points.

With 611 total points, Biola enjoys its fourth-straight week at No. 3 and now stands with 20-consecutive top-five positions.

No. 4 Madonna holds the most wins in the NAIA with a 25-0 record. The Crusaders posted 590 points this week.

Moving into the top five for the first time since 2010, No. 5 Northwestern (Iowa) recorded 557 points. After a 3-2 loss to Tabor (Kan.) on Aug. 23, the Red Raiders have gone on a 22-match win streak.

Despite a loss over the weekend, No. 19 Grand View (Iowa) made the best move up with a four-spot hike. The Vikings have gone 5-1 in their last six contests with the lone loss against then-No. 12 Oklahoma Baptist on Oct. 5.

No. 16 Westmont (Calif.) tumbles down six positions from last week. The Warriors have lost three-of-four, but those have come against No. 1 Concordia, No. 3 Biola and then-No. 16 (tie) The Master's.

No. 24 Davenport (Mich.) earns its first ranking in history, dating back to 2000. The Panthers have won 10 of their last 11 matches and are 16-6 overall. In the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, Davenport is tied with No. 4 Madonna for the top spot at 5-0.

Hastings (Neb.) dropped out this week after a No. 24 ranking last time.

Thirteen of 23 conferences are represented throughout the Top 25, led by the Golden State Athletic Conference with five ranked teams, Concordia, Biola, No. 13 The Master's, No. 16 Westmont and No. 18 Vanguard (Calif.). The American Midwest Conference and Great Plains Athletic Conference each land three programs in the poll.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and independents. The sixth regular-season Top 25 will be announced Oct. 15.
