Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Menís Basketball National Championship Tickets on Sale

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Starting today, All-Tournament tickets to the 77th annual Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship are available for purchase on-line at www.NAIAHoops.com. All-Tournament reserved tickets are $100 per person and $75 for all-tournament general admission seating. The historic event gets underway at Municipal Auditorium March 19 with the first of 31 games tipping at 9 a.m. CST.

Also, single-session tickets can be purchased in-person from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. CST at the Municipal Auditorium Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Additionally, fans can call 1- 800-745-8000 or purchase on-line at  www.Ticketmaster.com . Prices start at $5 for students and $12 for adults. The Municipal Auditorium Box Office is located at 301 W. 13th Street, Kansas City, MO 64105.

The National Championship consists of nine sessions, with each session having four games during the first four days, before switching to two games on semifinal night (March 24) and one for the National Championship game (March 25). Fans can get more value for their session ticket on March 22 (quarterfinals) with an All-Star game, slam-dunk contest and 3-point competition as part of one ticket.

The NAIA, title sponsor Buffalo Funds and the Heart of America Athletic Conference are excited to offer a family friendly atmosphere that includes non-stop basketball action, Champions of Character events and various promotions throughout the championship. The fan experience at Municipal Auditorium will be enhanced in 2014 with the facility undergoing a major renovation this past fall. The $5 million renovation includes new video boards, LED scorer’s table, sound system, lighting, seating in the lower level and electrical upgrades. The NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship, which is the longest continuous national collegiate tournament in any sport, is a 32-team single elimination format and draws approximately 40,000 fans to the Kansas City area each year. The bracket will be officially announced March 12.
