Proposed legislation now available

KANSAS CITY, MO. - Proposed amendments to the NAIA Constitution & Bylaws to be considered by NAIA membership at the 2014 NAIA Convention, April 10-14 in Kansas City, Mo., have been posted by Legislative Services. The proposals include two amendments to the constitution and 9 to Association bylaws.  Nominees for the National Coordinating Committee were also announced.

Membership is encouraged to join a discussion of the amendments on the NAIA Membership Forum.  and on Legislative Services.

Each active member institution in good standing, each NAIA affiliated conference, and the Association of Independent Institutions has one vote at the annual meeting.

Each institution and conference chief executive officer or commissioner must designate the voting delegate no later than one week prior to the annual meeting. The voting delegate form must be signed by the appropriate individual (Commissioner or CEO) and received in the National Office no later than 5 p.m. Central time Monday April 7.  See Voting Delegate Instructions.
