NAIA and Stretch Internet Announce 2015 Winter National Championships Schedule

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Subscribe to live video streaming) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and Stretch Internet have announced the video-streaming schedule for the 2015 Winter NAIA National Championships on the NAIA Network. There will be over 110 basketball games and over 45 hours of Olympic-style sporting action available for the fan to watch. Click HERE to access NAIANetwork.com

The following events will offer live video streaming on the official video home of the Association at NAIANetwork.com: the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving National Championships; the NAIA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Championships; the NAIA Wrestling National Championships, Presented by Blue Chip Wrestling (March 7 only); the State Farm-NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship; the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship; the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship, Presented by Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City; and the Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship.

The NAIA Network had 80,000 views during the course of the 2013-14 academic year across 15 NAIA National Championships. This platform is dedicated to showcasing all video-related content for the Association, member conferences and institutions – more than 10,000 live and on-demand events this year. The NAIA Network will feature live statistics, game archives and high-definition video-streaming available on mobile devices, tablets and laptops. The NAIA Network is the first-ever hub for live and on-demand NAIA events for all 23 member conferences and nearly 260 member institutions.

For the third-straight year, the Swimming & Diving and Track & Field National Championships will join the regular winter line-up of the wrestling and all four basketball events. The 59th annual men’s and 35th annual women’s swimming & diving national championships kick-off the schedule with a four-day event, March 4 – 7, from Oklahoma City, Okla. The indoor track & field national championships occur from March 5 – 7 from Geneva, Ohio. All championship sessions will have multiple camera angles and graphics to keep the fan informed with the latest news. The indoor track & field championships will feature a four-channel feed for the fan to watch separately track events, and field events that include the pole vault, long jump, high jump and throws.

The 58th annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships will be contested in Topeka, Kan., from March 6 – 7. The live-streaming portion will only occur during the finals session from 7 -- 9 p.m. CST on March 7. The NAIA Division II Men’s and Women’s Basketball National Championships run March 11 – 17, with the Division I Men’s and Women’s National Championships taking place March 18 – 24. The first 30 of 31 games will be streamed live via Stretch Internet for both Division I championships and the Division II men's championship.

The broadcast schedule for all four basketball national championship final games on March 17 and March 24 and the semifinals of the Division II Women's Basketball National Championship on March 16 will be announced next week.
