2015 NAIA Women's Volleyball Player of the Week - No. 4 (Sept. 29)

Kansas City, Mo. – Bethany Farres of Ottawa (Kan.), Cassie Sarabia of Indiana Tech and Haley Pouliezos Missouri Baptist have been named NAIA National Volleyball Players of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.  These three were selected based on their performances from Sept. 21-28 and were chosen out of a pool of conference and player of the week selections.

National Setter of the Week
Bethany Farres, Ottawa (Kan.)
Jr. S, McPherson, Kan.
• Recorded 221 assists to help her team to a 5-0 week along with 14 kills and 32 digs.
• Tied for 15th in the NAIA in overall assists per set (10.5) on the season.
• Averaged 13 assists per set and 44.2 per match during the five match period.
• This is her first career Player of the Week award.

National Attacker of the Week
Cassie Sarabia, Indiana Tech
Jr. OH, Rossford, Ohio
• Recorded a caree- high 25 kills, two from tying the program record for a match.
• Season-high 15 digs against the Warriors of Davenport.
• Picked up her first double-double of the season with 19 kills and 13 digs against Cornerstone.
• This is her first career Player of the Week award.

National Defender of the Week
Haley Pouliezos, Missouri Baptist
Sr. L, Imperial, Mo.
• Recorded 73 total digs to help her team to a 3-0 week.
• Ranked 6th overall in digs per set (6.0) on the year.
• As a libero she recorded her highest single match total of the week against NCAA Division  II McKendree (Ill.) with 27 digs.
• This is her first career Player of the Week award.
