NAIA Women’s Soccer Players of the Week – No. 9 (Nov. 1)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Yvonne Ploeg of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Morgan Hammon of Saint Francis (Ind.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.

National Offensive Player of the Week               
Yvonne Ploeg, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.)
5-4, So., F, Grootegast, Netherlands.

• Ploeg scored in all three Lindsey Wilson wins last week, totaling four goals and two assists to help the No. 4-ranked Blue Raiders extend their winning streak to 10-straight games.
• She scored the game winner in a 2-1 win over then-No. 12-ranked Cumberland (Tenn.) to open the week.
• Posted two goals in her first multi-goal game of the season against Pikeville (Ky.).
• Ploeg has recorded seven goals and five assists, tallying 19 points, on the season as the Lady Blue Raiders have earned a Mid-South Conference regular season title.

Morgan Hammon, Saint Francis (Ind.)
5-8, Jr., GK, Fishers, Ind.

• In one match this week, Hamons recorded nine saves against then-No. 17 Taylor (Ind.).
• Posted her third highest season-high saves in a game (9), five less than Hammons’ season high (14) against Northwestern Ohio.
• Ranks No. 30 in the NAIA in total saves (109).
