NAIA Women’s Soccer Players of the Week – No. 10 (Nov. 8)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Corrie Good of Spring Arbor (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Niccole McGuire of Morningside (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. This is the final Player of the Week award for the 2016 season.

National Offensive Player of the Week               
Corrie Good, Spring Arbor (Mich.)
5-2, Sr., F, Caledonia, Mich.

• Good recorded three goals and one assist, tallying seven points in a 5-1 victory over Indiana Wesleyan.
• She recorded her second career hat trick to help advance Spring Arbor to its seventh-straight Crossroads League tournament finals appearance.
• Good has posted nine goals and nine assists, for 29 points on the season.

National Defensive Player of the Week
Niccole McGuire, Morningside (Iowa)
5-8, Jr., GK, Rapid City, S.D.

• In two matches this week, McGuire recorded 10 saves in 200 minutes of play.
• Seven of McGuires’s ten saves came in a 1-0 victory over then-No. 10 Hastings (Neb.), as she helped the Mustangs snap the Broncos 14 game winning streak.
• Her other three saves against Northwestern (Iowa) came in the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinals.
• The two shutout victories advanced the Mustangs to the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament finals.
• McGuire is Morningside’s all-time leader with 55 saves, two shutouts, and four victories in post-season play.
