KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Daniel Leonard of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) was named NAIA National Wrestler of the Week, the national office announced on Wednesday. Leonard was selected for his results during the week of Nov. 28 – Dec. 4.

149-pound, Sr., Sherwood, Ore.
· Won three matches in dual competitions, including wins over No. 10-ranked Jacob Gross of Indiana Tech and No. 1-ranked Matt Weber of Montana State-Northern.
· Recorded one pin, one major decision and five decisions.
· Won all four matches at the Battle of the Rockies Open to improve to 11-1 this season.
· This is his first-career National Wrestler of the Week award.
