KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Vladica Djurdjevic of Northwestern Ohio has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Djurdjevic was selected based on her performances from March 20 – 26 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Against a trio of ranked NAIA teams, Djurdjevic went 5-0 individually on the week and helped her Northwestern Ohio squad to a 3-0 record for the week.
• Over then-No. 13 Brenau (Ga.), Djurdjevic earned an 8-1 singles win, while also picking up an 8-1 victory in doubles for her biggest wins over the three matches.
• At this point in the season, Djurdjevic owns an 11-2 record for doubles, while going 9-2 in singles.
• This is Djurdjevic’s first-career National Player of the Week honor.
