2017 NAIA Women's Tennis National Player of the Week - No. 4 (April 12)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Camille Gbaguidi of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Gbaguidi was selected based on her performances from April 3 – 9 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Went 4-0 last week including two wins against NCAA Division I Bethune-Cookman (Fla.). 
• In the four wins, she did not give up a single set.
• In an NAIA battle against then-No. 14 Coastal Georiga, Gbaguidi won both her singles and doubles matches 9-0.
• Gbaguidi now sits at 15-0 in singles on the year and is 13-2 in doubles.
• This is Gbaguidi’s first National Player of the Week honor.
