KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Olson Delisca of Southeastern (Fla.) has been named the first NAIA National Wrestler of the Week for the 2017-18 season, the national office announced Wednesday. He was chosen based on his performances from November 13 – 19.

133 pounds, Jr., Homestead, Fla.
• In his first official action of the year, Delisca won the 133-pound title at the Georgia Open.
• The title was highlighted by a 5-3 victory over Dustin Kirk of NCAA Division II King (Tenn.). Kirk, who is a returning NCAA Division II All-American, entered the match ranked No. 1 at 133 pounds.
• Delisca also had victories against individuals representing Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), NCAA Division I Middle Tennessee State and Florida.
