KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ainhoa Garijo Garrido of Cumberland (Tenn.) has been named the NAIA National Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Garijo Garrido was selected based on her performances from March 28-April 3 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, Association of Independent Institutions and unaffiliated group winners.

• Garijo Garrido helped lead Cumberland to a 3-0 week, including an upset over then-No. 7 Northwestern Ohio
• Ainhoa won all six matches on the week without dropping a set.
• She did not lose more than two games in any set she played in on the week
• Garijo Garrido is 16-2 in singles and 11-7 in doubles on the season
