KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Chris Paulsen of Briar Cliff (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Wrestler of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. He was chosen based on his performances from Nov. 12-Dec. 2.

- Chris Paulsen picked up a huge win in a dual against Northwestern when he knocked off No. 2 Andrew Null by a 9-2 decision. He then had a tremendous performance at the Buena Vista Open against wrestlers from all divisions. He took fourth place in the 165-pound class with his first loss coming by a close 7-5 decision against Kenny O'Neil from Division I South Dakota State University.
- All three of Paulsen's wins ended with him pinning his opponents with victories over wrestlers from Minnesota State and Iowa Central.
