Kansas City, Mo. – Darbi Gustafson of Northwestern (Iowa) has been named the NAIA National Women's Basketball Division II Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Gustafson was nominated for her performances during the week of Dec. 3 – 9 and was selected out of a pool of conference award winners.

- Weekly Stats:
- Averaged 24.5 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game in two contests.
- Shot 63 percent from the floor over the course of both games.
- Matched a career-high 29 points in a commanding 95-71 win over No. 25 Midland.
