KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Addie Shaw of Concordia (Neb.) was named the NAIA indoor field athlete of the week and Anna Shields of Point Park (Pa.) was named the NAIA indoor track athlete of the week. The duo was chosen out of a pool of conference group winners.

Addie Shaw, Concordia (Neb.)

- Shaw posted two automatic national qualifying throws in the weight throw and shot put last week.
- Weekly Stats
- Finished first of 21 with a mark of 18.46m in weight throw
- Finished second of 11 with a mark of 14.04m in shot put
- Set a new personal record in the weight throw and new season record in shot put
Track Athlete of the Week
Anna Shields, Point Park (Pa.)
SR, Torrington, Conn.
- Shields competed in the Youngstown State University Invitational last week.
- Weekly Stats
- Finished first of 60 athletes in the 800m with a time of 2:07.51
- Shields set a new personal record in the event as well as broke the previous facility record.
- The time puts her at No. 1 in the NAIA and No. 9 in all of collegiate women’s indoor track this year.
