2019 NAIA Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week No. 4 (Feb. 6)

NAIA - Indoor Track & Field - Athlete of the Week - Alexis Dale - Doane (Neb.)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rachel Blagg of Taylor (Ind.) was named the NAIA indoor track athlete of the week and Alexis Dale of Doane (Neb.) was named the NAIA indoor field athlete of the week. The duo was chosen out of a pool of conference group winners.

  • Blagg competed in the Indiana Wesleyan Invite last week.
  • Weekly Stats
    • Finished first of 12 in the 1,000m with a time of 3:00.51
    • Helped her relay team to a first-place finish of five teams in the distance – medley relay with a time of 12:30.83

Field Athlete of the Week
Alexis Dale, Doane
JR, Ravenna, Neb.   

  • Dale tied a school record set in 1992 with her high jump mark at the Fred Beile Classic last week.

    • Finished first of 14 athletes in the high jump with a mark of 1.78m
