KANSAS CITY, MO. - Eli Scott of Coastal Georgia has been named the NAIA National Men's Golf Golfer of the Week, the National office announced Wednesday.

- Freshman, Eli Scott won his first collegiate tournament with the Mariners after several other high finishes when he won the individual championship at the prestigious Battle at Primm tournament in Las Vegas.
- Scott shot three sub-par rounds to finish 9-under-par for the 54-hole event
- Ranked No. 2 in the country behind his teammate Mark David Johnson.
- The Mariners have won six of their seven tournaments throughout the fall and spring schedules thus far
