NAIA Scorecard Winners 2011-12
More than 80% of NAIA member institutions and all member conferences were named to the Five-Star list.
Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earned points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by obtaining zero ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
The top five scores were achieved by
1. Montana Tech of the University of Montana with 100 points
2. Carroll College (Mont.) with 96 points
3. Paul Quinn College (Tx.) with 91 points
3. University of Saint Francis (In.) with 91 points
3. Xavier University (La.) with 91 points
The Appalachian, Frontier, Kansas Collegiate Athletic, Midwest Collegiate, The Sun and TranSouth Conferences landed in the top spot with 100% of their member schools making the grade.
