KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Anthony Marchesani of Oklahoma City has been named the NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Marchesani, the first golfer from Oklahoma City to win the award since its inception in 2011, was selected based on his performances from March 25 – 31 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated group golfer of the week selections.
Marchesani, a native of Rosebud, Victoria, Australia, earned his first career individual medal at the Battle at the Primm at Primm Valley Golf Course in Primm, Nev., March 25 – 26.
