2012 NAIA Women’s Golf All-Americans Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2012 Women's Golf All-Americans. Golfers were selected by the All-America Committee. The list of honorees includes 15 first team student-athletes and 15 honorable mention selections.

National champion British Columbia tied William Woods (Mo.) and Concordia (Ore.) for the most All-Americans with two apiece. The Owls Jada Bennington headlines the group with her third-straight first team selection. Bennington, a 17th-place finisher at the 2012 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships in Greenville, Tenn. May 15 - 18, placed in the top 10 in eight tournaments this season and ranked 10th nationally in average round score at 77.1.

Other repeat first team All-Americans include Kylie Barros of British Columbia, Danielle Bellet of Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.), Fabys Barreto-Guzman of Embry-Riddle (Fla.), Nikki Stewart of SCAD Savannah (Ga.) and Jamie Palermo of William Woods.

The 2012 All-America list is composed of five seniors, four juniors, four sophomores and two freshmen.
