Grist and McKinley Named NAIA Men's Soccer Players of the Week

 In the final Player of the Week release of the season, Lloyd Grist of Holy Names (Calif.) was named the NAIA Men's National Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 28.

Grist, a freshman midfielder from Cardiff, Wales netted six goals and added an assist in two matches over the week.  Against Bethany (Calif.), Grist scored five goals and had an assist.  He followed that up with a goal against Simpson (Calif.)

Hall McKinley of Berry (Ga.) has been named the NAIA Men's National Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 28.

McKinley, a sophomore defender from Atlanta, GA was a key member of a defense that did not allow a single shot on goal in two matches, as Berry won the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament.  Neither Reinhardt (Ga.) nor No. 18 Lee (Tenn.) could get past a stifling Berry defense. For his effort, McKinley was named SSAC Tournament MVP.
