Jimmy Pommerlee as Xavier rolled to a 9-0 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference win on April 14. The junior from Brooklyn, N.Y., finished his stellar week at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) match-clinching triumph over Maxim Tkachenko of NCAA Division I Alcorn State (Miss.) on April 14.
