KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Brady Klotz of Bethel (Ind.) has been named the NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Klotz was selected based on his performances from April 8 – 14 and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated group golfer of the week selections.

Klotz, a native of Nappanee, Ind., led Bethel to back-to-back tournament victories for the week with a second-place finish at the BC Spring Sprint in Granger, Ind., April 8 and an individual crown at the Pilot Invitational in South Bend, Ind., April 13. At the BC Spring Sprint, which is a 36-hole tournament played in one day, Klotz carded a 74-75—149 to finish three strokes off the lead and second out of 38 golfers. He continued his stellar play at the Pilot Invitation, recording a second round 2-under par 70 to help the Pilots overcome a three-hole deficit and win the team and his first individual title of the season. He finished with a score of 73-70—143 for the event.
