Final Golfers of the Week
Reinland carded a 71-72-67—210 to propel the Warriors to the Frontier Conference Tournament title and an automatic bid to the NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships May 24 – 27 in Silvis, Ill. Lewis-Clark State posted a 288-288—576 to defeat Carroll (Mont.) 297-307—604 in the bracket-style event. Reinland, who is a native of College Park, Wash., was named the league’s Freshman of the Year prior to the tournament.
Garrison took top-honors with a 77-78—155 at the Frankly Lady Grizzly Spring Invitational held at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin, Ind., April 30 – May 1. Her 5-over-par 77 was the lowest of the first round. The sophomore hailing from Cutler, Ind., tied her own two-round school record of 155.
