2011 NAIA Men's Tennis All-Americans Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2011 Men's Tennis All-Americans. Players were selected by the All-America committee. Thirty-two student-athletes were named to the First and Second Teams, while 21 others were named honorable mention selections.

Highlighting the 2011 honorees are Remy Caffardo of Graceland (Iowa) and Carlos Lima of Westmont (Calif.). Both Caffardo and Lima are four-time First-Team All-Americans. Also picking up All-American status for the fourth year is Embry-Riddle's (Fla.) Jan Hoekzema, who earned First-Team honors in 2009 and 2010 and Second-Team honors in 2008 and 2011.

National championship runner-up Embry-Riddle led the way with five All-Americans, including First-Team pick Chris Freeman and four Second-Team selections. Auburn Montgomery (Ala.), Fresno Pacific (Calif.) and Oklahoma Christian each had four honorees.

The 2011 All-America list is composed of eight seniors, nine juniors, eight sophomores and seven freshmen.
