KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2013 Rawlings-NAIA Baseball Gold Glove Team, as selected by the NAIA-Baseball Coaches Association (NAIA-BCA) All-America Selection Committee. For the seventh year, a total of nine players were chosen based upon their defensive success.
Webber International’s (Fla.) Billy Farrell, the second-straight Warrior to receive Gold Glove honors, headlines the group as a second team All-America selection in addition to earning Gold Glove honors. The senior centerfielder recorded 148 putouts and six assists in 56 games.
There were no repeat selections from a year ago.
