KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Chanel Ross of Harris-Stowe (Mo.) has been selected as the NAIA Women's Basketball Division I Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008.
Ross, a senior guard from Philadelphia, Pa., averaged 33.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 7.5 steals in two games for the Hornets. She shot 64 percent from the floor including 53 percent from the three-point range. Ross scored her 1,000th career point during the week and recorded a double-double with 30 points and 10 steals against Williams Baptist.
