2014 NAIA Menís Golfer of the Week Ė No. 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Julian Taylor of William Woods (Mo.) has been named the NAIA National Men’s Golfer of the Week, the national office announced Wednesday. Taylor, who is receiving his second career weekly accolade, was selected based on his performance from March 17 – 23 and was chosen out of a pool of conference, independent and unaffiliated group winners.

Taylor, a native of York, England, led William Woods to its first team victory of the spring season at the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invitational at the LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., March 17 – 18. The junior was the individual medalist in the event after carding a 4-under-par, 69-71—140, to best a field of 104 golfers.

Taylor won two events during the Owl’s fall season – Missouri Intercollegiate on Sept. 3 – 4 and the William Woods Invitational on Sept. 30 – Oct. 1. He was previously named National Golfer of the Week on March 27, 2013.
