ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is proud to announce the 2008-09 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Track and Field Scholar-Athletes. To be honored as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically and have a minimum 3.5 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
For the 2008-09 academic year, a total of 322 women’s track and field athletes have qualified for the honor. The ladies represent 88 different NAIA institutions. Concordia University (Neb.) has the highest individual representation with 18 team members on the list.
