Players of the Week - No. 3
Moloto, a 5-11 junior forward from Polokwane, South Africa, tallied eight points during a 2-0 week for the Blue Raiders. In the 6-0 victory over St. Catharine (Ky.) on Sept. 13, he posted three assists. He finished the week with a pair of goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over No. 25 Auburn Montgomery (Ala.). He ranks third in the NAIA in assists per match (1.00) and 31st in points per match (2.500).
Poteat, a 6-0 senior goalkeeper from Lincoln, Neb., held two top-10 opponents to one goal as the top-ranked Broncos went 2-0 on the week. In the 1-0 shutout of No. 8 Kansas Wesleyan on Sept. 13, Poteat stopped three shots in 90 minutes of action. Then, he went 90 minutes and posted one save in the 2-1 triumph over No. 9 Grand View (Iowa) on Sept. 17. He has played a big role in helping Hastings win an NAIA-record 32-straight matches. His .890 goals against average ranks him 34th in the NAIA.
