KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The final edition of the 2009 NAIA National Women’s Soccer Players of the Week were announced on Tuesday: Renee Rudder of Avila (Mo.) was named NAIA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week and Andi Wilhoit of Georgetown (Ky.) was named NAIA Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, for the week of Nov. 2 – 8. These winners were chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week performers among 23 conferences and independents.

Rudder, a 5-6, freshman goalkeeper from Brisbane, Australia, stopped 15 shots to lead Avila to a 1-0 shutout win over No. 18 William Jewell (Mo.) on Nov. 3. Rudder’s 15 saves came off of 29 William Jewell shots.
